- Automatic ballot checking and warnings are built right in. At matching
time this will tell you exactly what problems a panel has (not enough
judges, school conflicts, etc.). At finals time this will tell you which
ballots are missing or have not been recorded yet, and also which competitors
are missing scores.
- easy-to-use double-flighting features
- On-screen preview feature for every printable document.
- Print any and all documents to file instead of to the printer, in
plain text or RTF format!
- Many advancement/breaking options are available. NFC rules can be
selected with a single click. You can also set the rank/rate scoring
range where you want it and it will be indicated on every ballot.
- Many striking options are readily available, allowing you to block
a judge for certain competitors, a competitor for certain judges, whole
schools for certain judges, etc. Judges can also be made available/unavailable
for any particular events or types of events (Novice only, no Interp,
etc).
- Rooms can be defined as “Easy Access”, “Nearby”, “Large”, etc. Judges,
Competitors and Events have their own array of attributes that you may
assign or ignore. This means that when the Mesmer panels Extemporaneous
speaking as a “nearby” event, the program knows to put it in a nearby
room. Likewise it knows which competitors and judges need easy access
rooms, etc.
- Creating information packets and double-check lists is easy. A comprehensive
set of choices for Who's Who lists is available, showing entrants by
school, by event or both. You can print all schools or events or just
the ones you select.
- You can print room, event and judge schedules with up-to-date information
at any time. This is useful for paying hired judges, seeing what rooms
are still available, locating a judge or competitor, etc.
- The Drone: Mesmer IE Edition indicates double and triple entries on postings
and ballots.
- You can assign school codes rather than numbers as you prefer. In
other words, you can have LCC or UofW rather than school 34 or school
11.
- And much more….
